(Vintage 1974 or 1984 Citizen Eagle 7, 8200 Mov't, Automatic Watch)

出品者コメントBeautiful vintage condition with signs of wear and age. The second hand and date window frame have come loose and are floating inside the case, behind the crystal, but other than that, the watch looks gorgeous and is wearable as is, with the exception of reattaching the hand and frame.

This watch is from that collection, as are many other brands such as Girard Perregaux, Hamilton, Mido, Elgin, Benrus, Enicar, Citizen, Seiko, and even Le Coultre. The collection also includes some lesser-known brands from the WW2 era and early midcentury, as well as some great 1970s pieces and high-end modern watches. I will be listing as quickly as I can, so please check frequently as these watches are first come first serve. Now, for the watch in this listing, continue reading below. This listing is for a gorgeous, vintage Citizen Eagle 7, Automatic watch. This watch is beautiful to look at and is running at the time of writing this listing. The watch has a gorgeous blue dial with a silver strip in the center. The case and band are stainless steel. The watch shows some signs of wear and age, but it is wearable as is, with the exception that the second hand and the little silver date window frame have detached from the dial are floating loose inside the case, behind the crystal. In order to avoid damage to the other watch hands and the dial, these should be reattached before wearing the watch. The blue and silver watch dial are in great vintage condition and have a little eagle emblem on the lower half of the dial, just below wear the hands attach. The lettering looks great, with no fading. The date window has days of the week and dates. The serial and movement number are at the base of the dial. These read P-8200-285040-KY. This serial dates the watch to either 1974 or 1984. The watch's movement model is 8200, which according to my research, is a work horse of a movement that runs practically forever. The crystal of the watch shows a little of its wear and age. The surface shows little abrasions, minor scuffs and scrapes, but it's not foggy and still clear to view through. At this time, in my opinion, it doesn't require replacement for the watch to be worn. The watch case and band are in great vintage condition, with only mild abrasions viewable under magnification, which is to be expected of a watch this age. The case back shows a couple of slightly deeper scratches, likely from opening up the watch; but again, nothing excessive. The band has a folding clasp. It's a little hard to measure this type of band when closed, but it looks to be about 7 inches, so if the circumference of your wrist is much larger than 7 inches around, you may need to replace or lengthen the band. I have a number of new old stock watch bands and can work a replacement band into the sell if the buyer wishes. After the purchase of the watch, the buyer can tell me what he prefers and I will send photos of what I have in inventory for the buyer to choose I don't know how to attach bands, so the new owner will be responsible for this. The watch has a stainless steel case that measures 34 mm in size. The lug width is 17 mm. The watch winds easily and is running at the time of listing; however, I have not tested it's time keeping accuracy. I can make no guarantees about its future working condition as I know nothing of its previous history or when it was last serviced. As a vintage item, the new owner should anticipate the cost of having the watch serviced/repaired to guarantee its future working condition, as this is 40 to 50-year-old timepiece. You are buying the watch AS IS. I've taken video of the watch running, this was difficult to film as without the second hand attached, I had to video for a couple of minutes to show that the minute hand was moving. I am happy to share this with interested buyers if they require proof of the watch's working condition. After purchase, before shipping, I will also check the watch again and take a second video of it running as proof of its continued working condition before it ships. If I discover the watch has stopped working before I ship, I will contact the buyer so he or she may reconsider the purchase and either renegotiate a price or cancel the sell all together. Otherwise, I'll video the working watch, carefully package it for protection during its journey, and let the buyer know the watch has shipped. Once the watch leaves my possession at the post office, the sell is final, with no returns, unless I have missed an important detail in the description. My apologies for the sternness of this policy, but serious collectors know how valuable and rare these vintage watches can be, and I have had some instances when less aware buyers have purposefully damaged watches to force returns. Needless to say, this seriously decreases the value of the item that is returned to me. If I miss an important detail in the listing, then I will accept a return, so please don't damage the watch. If I didn't miss a detail, please don't damage the watch to say I did. I keep detailed records as proof of the watch's condition at time of listing and time of sell. Pictures are to be considered as part of the description. Please review the images for a better idea of condition, and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Shipping will be $4.50 USPS insured first class, and i would be more than willing to combine shipping. I don't offer a return policy, but... i will stand behind my listings. if i make a mistake on my listing, or i misunderstand an item or miss a relevant flaw on the items listed, i will do ANYTHING in my power to make things right for the buyer, so bid with confidence.
