The ASM trucks were the first items we started selling on eBay. Presently, we have approximately 400 items for sale. We pride ourselves on great Customer Service which is reflected in our reviews. Background on the 1968 ASM diecast Chevrolet trucks currently for sale on eBay: The 1968 ASM diecast Chevrolet trucks are very rare considering there are less than 1,500 in existence. There are 6 unique models with 4 different colors. There are 17 different combinations of models and colors. The different ASM truck models and colors are - Fleetside Pickup Truck colors blue, green and red - Utility Truck colors green, red and yellow- Closed Van Truck colors blue, green and red - Dump Truck colors green and red - Shell Type Camper Truck colors blue, green and red - Custom Camper Truck colors blue, green and red. Even more rare is the fact that very few of these have a chrome front end, these are called a Deluxe Chrome Front End ASM truck. There is also a Deluxe Interior ASM truck which can be recognized by the steering wheel included in the interior. The rarest is the Super Deluxe which combines the Deluxe Chrome Front End and Deluxe Interior together. Until September 2021 when Diecast Cousin’s first started selling the ASM trucks on eBay, there wasn’t any information on the internet about them. Very few of the ASM trucks sold in 1968 due to competition from Hot Wheels and Matchbox. Someone that worked at ASM put approximately 1000 ASM trucks into storage for 54 years. Diecast Cousin’s purchased that entire inventory. ASM trucks were made in the USA and are approximately 1/64 scale. The doors and hood open on all models. When the hood is opened you can view a detailed Chevy V8 engine. ASM trucks are truly a historic piece of diecast car and truck history and will only increase in value.
