All those brown Bookworm Deluxe CDs you saw in the search results have an install program that's broken in modern Windows. The installer will abort halfway through the installation, claiming the game is already running. And if you somehow manage to get past that problem, there's a good chance the game will declare itself an expired free trial and demand a license key that is no longer possible to obtain. MY DISCS WORK IN MODERN WINDOWS:My discs are genuine, retail PopCap discs. They are the final version 1.13 of Bookworm Deluxe, not the 1.03 version of the brown CDs. This version 1.13 does not require a license key.My discs install and launch in modern Windows. They won't abort the installation halfway or declare themselves an expired trial.They're a sort of secret, a limited, late printing of the game that doesn't say "Deluxe" on the label, but which installs the Deluxe version. I know about them because I've been playing, making, then selling and supporting PC games since the early 1980's, and make it a point to be knowledgeable about what I sell.COMPATIBILITY: My testing and prior sales show the game to work well on any Win 11 / 10 / 8 / 7 PC. Problems are rare, and I provide free, professional tech support for everything I sell. Some PCs may need to make a one-time adjustment to the game graphics after installing, and I include a brief installation and configuring guide with the disc.
