商品説明※アメリカの現地出品者により作成されたため、英語のまま掲載いたしております。For sale is this beautiful authentic ancient Egyptian small faience pendant/bead artifact. This rare antiquity is made out of Egyptian faience. Wikipedia defines Egyptian Faience as: “Egyptian faience is a sintered-quartz ceramic material from Ancient Egypt. The sintering process "covered [the material] with a true vitreous coating" as the quartz underwent vitrification, creating a bright lustre of various colours "usually in a transparent blue or green isotropic glass". Its name in the Ancient Egyptian language was tjehenet, and modern archeological terms for it include sintered quartz, glazed frit, and glazed composition.” This is a type of Egyptian clay made of quartz, and often occurs with blue tones, which may or may not age away. Other tones are often common, especially in later periods where natural dying by addition of other clays and crystals was used. It has some light coloration and toning to it. This piece would be perfect for using as a teaching tool, displaying, wearing, researching, using as decor, or using as a conversation piece! Perfect for any collection. This beautiful example of ancient Egyptian jewelry is guaranteed authentic and ethically acquired. This piece was purchased through a certified AIAD (Association of International Antiquities Dealers — an association based in the UK — baiting by strict regulatory code of conduct). It has been in my collection since acquired from the dealer. Note from the photos that this piece is relatively small. It was likely intended to be worn as an amulet, pendant, or bead, at some point (as many ushabtis and similar pieces were). It is intact, though may have small chips and a rough around the edges though. Please inspect photos carefully and ask questions for exact condition. It is in good condition given this age! It looks awesome. It comes as you see it in the photo! Don’t pass it up! Be sure to check over the details and look at all of the photos so you will know exactly what you’ll get! Sometimes the photos include a picture of the item next to a ruler so that you can better tell the size of the item. This way we can avoid any accidental sizing issues. My goal is to make you happy!
